Beginners’ Drawing

Drawing is an innate skill often allowed to wain from lack of use. It is also the place to start for all forms of visual art. If you want to re-kindle your imagination, develop new skills, and get in touch with your inner artist, this is the place to start.

Late Summer Walk, Forage, Draw

Monday, September 14th – After a walk down our lane my pockets bulge with flints, and bones, feathers and sticks. In their way these bits and bobs describe my walk, my environment and my interests. These are the things that I like to draw. Join me for a walk.

The Body in Art Practise, Yoga and Drawing

In this class you will think about your body as you draw a line. Yoga helps to put you in touch with how your entire body ‘feels’ – do the muscles contract here? where is my balance focused? am I tense, or relaxed? From this you will be doing various drawing exercises. The results are exciting and open a new language of marks and expression.
