Drawing: An Introduction for Beginners

Come and have a go at drawing with us at Hampshire Art studio. This will be a fun, exciting day for beginners, the rusty, and the uncertain. We think drawing is the starting point for all our courses. We will provide the materials, the tea, coffee and surprisingly good cake – you just have to turn up and have a go. Bring a friend, a colleague, or a family member and make a day of it. We hope this will be a first step into a world of possibilities.

It makes us sad at Hampshire Art studio when people say they can’t draw. REALLY…Everyone can draw. It is our job to show you the way in to this exciting, relaxing, thoughtful, thrilling, risky (not very – what is the worst that could happen?) world that you know much more about than you think you do.

What to Expect in this Class

Over the many years of re-introducing students to drawing we find the best thing to do is to make it fun, make it surprising, occasionally impossible, and again…fun. Don’t arrive in your best clothes, you will get grubby (in a positive way).

We provide the materials. You bring your own lunch!
